Faustine Badrichani is a French artist based in New-York.
Her work focuses on the female body and is an exploration of femininity, showcased through colorful nude silhouettes. Her most recent body of work includes paintings on paper mostly, but she has also explored the woman shape using sculpture (direct plaster) and large oil paintings.
She has a unique way of depicting the female body, and has developed a strong visual identity over the years.
Born and raised in France, Badrichani attended a to business school in Paris, and embraced a career in finance in London and then New York. In 2012, she took a leap and settled as a full time artist in New-York. Though mostly self taught, she attended classes at Parsons New School and at the Art Student League. She has had a few solo shows in New-York (Rooq Galery 2012, One Space Tribeca 2015, Studio Sale 2018) and currently has a group show in Paris at Esther et Paul Gallerie.
